The Tour of HELL

First off this is a drawing from...oh...I want to say a long time ago I just cant remember HOW long ago. I think from when my computer crashed.

Untill last night I had never gotten around to inking it. Since i was in an inking mood I inked the mofo, and i liked the ink job so much I decided to color it. ...In photoshop at that. it seemed like a photoshop job.

As far as I'm concerned this could be a comic cover. (granted im not THAT happy with the color job..but for me...its d'accord) And it would be a comic cover for..
THE TOUR OF HELL.

All in all I wanted a cover that showed my boys (at this stage in their careers, you might as well consider them boys) in pretty bad condition.
Needless to say, their first tour is HELL. First mistake, setting out on tour in fall across a VERY cold country. I'd continue with the mistakes but they make so many we'd be here all day counting them.

Basically, their first tour is so Rock n Roll its sick. Thats right, sex, drugs, the whole nine yards. It doesnt end there; bar fights, accidents, stolen equipment, disgruntled band members, band break ups, alcohol, swearing, crappy audiences, emaciation, poverty, and on top of all that...

...OH yeah, the idea of the sHELL sign? Blatantly stole it from Martin Tielli's sketchbook. When HIS band was on tour they ended up in some po-dunk town and the S in the Shell sign was out. And the town really was hell.
I also crafted adam's smoke a bit more after Tielli's style. I love how he draws smoke. Mine doesnt even come close.
